Zoé Rosemary Lee is a creative currently based in East Sussex. Her creativity flows through many pathways. In the development of her degree her approach towards illustration has flourished into something more abstract which tests the boundaries of traditional illustration.

She fabricates work which focuses on shape, colour and mark making. Deconstructing and reconstructing. The aim of her work is to create images that are beautiful and full of life, focusing not so much on a big idea but more on a feeling. A journey through marks and colours.

The majority of Lee's work is centred around nature and the wonders of the flora and fauna as she finds the natural world to be a magical place. As part of her practice she embraces the organic and handmade process, by beginning all her work analogue, using a variety of mediums and tools to create marks. The next step of her process is to experiment with these marks by making collages using Adobe software. Lee sees her work lending itself to surface design.
