Tyler J.

Tyler J. is an Access to Higher Education student predominantly interested in the medium of illustration. Inspired by a variety of sources, from storybooks and comics to graphic novels, manga, animation, and games, Tyler J. has a keen interest and passion for visual storytelling. His primary ambition is to generate his own narratives and provide visual elements to express them. However, he also has an interest in adapting other works through illustration, whether already established works or those intended to be collaborative between Tyler J. and another creative, such as writers, animators, or game designers. Though his work currently focuses on character design, he is keen to expand his skills, knowledge, and versatility by studying other subjects, such as landscapes, vehicles, flora and fauna, and illustrative methods, such as perspective drawing, observational drawing, and life/anatomical drawing. Tyler J. hopes to one day work in the creative industry as an illustrator or concept artist/character designer, either through self-employment or working for another party.
