Rees Lacdao

Rees Lacdao has been intrigued by the evolving world of art and design. His interest in design has grown following his experience working in the architecture environment, where he was able to demonstrate his willingness to learn and explore his creativity. Lacdao has also developed his design skills through his course in Design Technology. Designing a product or building has since become more of an interest to him. Making new designs was not just as simple as producing one after another, but it was a way of providing a thrill as he was given the opportunity to design and showcase what he had accomplished. This had also allowed him to learn to integrate design thinking with creative problem-solving through an understanding of logical, creative, and practical design.

Since starting his journey at Ravensbourne University, London Lacdao was able to acquire more skills which have helped to progress his journey towards becoming an architect. These skills include a deeper understanding of architectural history, model making, and using CAD. Lacdao has also been able to develop his speaking and presenting skills through the opportunities of being able to present in front of colleagues, and external firms and practices.
