Rajbir Chana, a diligent interior design and environmental architecture student, dedicated herself to developing a robust skillset marked by curiosity and adaptability. With a comprehensive understanding of interior architecture and design principles, she is ready to embark on her professional journey.
In her recent projects, Chana has demonstrated a commitment to social impact and environmental sustainability. Exploring avenues to create inclusive spaces that foster community engagement whilst incorporating urban greening and sustainable materials to promote environmental health and well-being. Her final major project focused on designing a community centre aimed at providing opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds to express themselves creatively and access healthy meals. Through this endeavour, Chana showcased her dedication to leveraging design for positive social change and addressing systemic inequalities. Additionally, Chana's dissertation delved into the spatial dynamics of power, examining the ramifications of the British partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. This research highlights her passion for exploring how design intersects with history and social justice and her commitment to using her skills as a designer to shine light on complex societal issues.
