Naiara Rodrigueza
Naiara Rodrigueza is studying Fashion Communication at Ravensbourne University London. She will be moving onto studying Fashion Branding & Creative Communication at Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. Rodrigueza focuses on Fashion Photography and Styling, she also has a background in Fashion Design. Her talents have been sought after by musicians, for whom she has crafted bespoke clothing tailored for tours and festival performances. She has also been exploring making one-of-a-kind pieces using thrifted fabrics to sell. Fashion Photography interests her as she is inspired by creating different narratives through her work, she has a keen eye for composition, lighting, and aesthetics, as well as a deep understanding of fashion trends and the ability to translate them into visually striking images.
Rodrigueza's Filipino heritage is a cornerstone of her creative identity, infusing her projects with a rich tapestry of cultural influences. Her Final Major Project, Mano Po, stands as a testament to this, as she intricately weaves together styling and photography to celebrate the vibrant heritage of the Philippines. Through her work, Rodrigueza endeavours to educate and inspire, shedding light on the beauty and diversity of Filipino culture. Driven by a desire to pave the way for future generations of Filipino creatives, Rodrigueza is committed to being a pioneer in the industry. Growing up, she yearned to see more representation of her culture in the creative sphere.
