Livlis Zhang

Livlis Zhang is an illustrator whose works are inspired by traditional culture, nature, fairy tales and self-discovery. She has focused on exploring colourful digital paintings in the past and is now exploring a combination of hand-drawn and digital paintings. She specialises in the use of colour and storytelling, and her work focuses on using beautiful colours and familiar tropes to create atmosphere.

Editorial work form year 1. Zhang used a colourful palette to represent childhood memories, and the metaphor of a Gashapon machine is used, where one can tamper with childhood memories by gaining the Gashapon from the brain.
