This Final Major Project was developed around the idea of care and learning for children in the area of Southwark. The proposal aims to unite Southwark’s community, particularly the younger generation, through creative arts. A space where children can learn creative skills, important social skills, and have fun, all whilst encouraging the development of STEM skills alongside motor skills. The local council will bring in organisations to run workshops for the children of different ages. The space can be transformed into an exhibition space to display work. The play spaces will provide the tools for children to explore their imagination and make the space their own. This initiative provides extracurricular opportunities like model making and an enjoyable play area where parents can watch their children while relaxing by the cafe.
