This piece was for Kouame's 'Error' project. This was inspired by Marlene Dumas’ ‘Rejects’. Kouame wanted to create something that gave off creepy uncanny valley vibes.
The film is about Kouame dreaming of being in LA ever since he was a kid, then one day it becomes a reality. The film translates to what Kouame wants to experience one day, making the dream a reality.
This is a short documentary that was for Kouame's Final Major Project which is based on France and the colonisation of Francophone West African countries. A topic that hits home for Kouame.
