Daniel Alexander Brown

Daniel Alexander Brown is a thorough and creative editor specialising in craft editing and motion graphics.

Brown is graduating with a degree in Editing and Post-Production from Ravensbourne University London, a specialist creative industries university. This unique degree course has editing, Brown's passion, at its heart but it has also developed his experience and skills by covering a broad range of topics across the spectrum of post-production. These have included visual effects, colour grading, audio post, motion graphics, shoot and edit and post-production technology. As well as providing an extensive understanding of the post workflow, the course has also enabled Brown to explore a range of creative approaches through numerous practical projects, including music videos, advertising and motion graphic information videos.

Alongside his degree, Brown has been working in hospitality for the past three years. This has proved invaluable in developing his skills related to working in a team, taking on responsibility and delivering high quality service under pressure and to deadlines. At school he gained A Levels / BTECs in Creative Digital Media Production, English Language and Business Studies.

Showreel – This showreel will show off some of the best edits and projects throughout the years. It covers craft editing, motion graphics, colour grading, sound design as well as shoot and edit.

Art for All. – A commissioned piece for a small art studio in Surrey. This promoted the art studio and influence in the art space. Daniel Alexander Brown performed the shoot and craft edit along with the VFX.

Royal Automobile Club - Sustainability. – With nearly 600 staff across its wide range of facilities, the Club asked Daniel Alexander Brown to create a video to help them quickly and clearly explain sustainability values to new staff.

Come and Get It – This was a short film - fight scene - which Daniel Alexander Brown was tasked with the Cut, VFX, Colour Grade, Sound Design and SFX.
