Fungi are one of the most vital organisms for sustaining the ecosystem but are commonly overlooked and misunderstood. Only 10% of fungi species are known today. Trophē aims to shine a light on their intricacy and mystery.

Trophē redefines the way of growing mushrooms by introducing a novel approach: presenting their growth as a living sculpture, enclosed within a glass globe to maintain optimal humidity levels consistently. Suspended within the glass enclosure, the cultivation container is crafted from unbleached toilet paper and crushed eggshells, offering a compostable, plastic-free alternative to conventional mushroom cultivation equipment. The glass chamber acts as a terrarium, retaining the moisture after misting to provide the optimum environment for mushrooms.

In this way, mushrooms are displayed and appreciated as living sculpture, breaking free from the stigma of disease and decay to showcase their crucial ecological role while elevating the home aesthetic.
