Abbie Downes is a bubbly and charismatic photographer, specialising in studio and travel photography. Her passion for photography was sparked by one of her family friends, who herself was a photographer. Seeing the joy she had whilst holding a camera encouraged Downes to pursue this career.

To start, Downes focused her photography around mental health, which is a great passion of hers. However, once she gained her university experience, she began to branch out to different photography fields. She found her passion in travel photography, due to living in Dubai for 5 years, and being able to travel to other places. Alongside this, her passions also lie within studio photography, being able to direct the models and manipulate the lighting to her affect. Creating artistic studio work, ranging from colourful, striking lighting to darker, more mysterious work, she finds that the creative range is endless!
